Questions, answered

What is Stilk?

A living gift. You plant a tree or a flower in 3D for someone you love, share its link, and you both water it once a day. It grows with every visit, on its own little floating island.

Do we need an account?

No. Anyone with the link can visit the plant, water it and add it to their garden, without signing up. You can connect an account later to find your garden on any device.

What happens if we forget to water it?

It wilts little by little, but it never dies. It waits patiently until someone comes back and waters it again.

How long does a plant take to grow?

Each plant has its own pace: about two weeks for a tulip, five months for an oak. You can also plant one already fully grown, and care keeps it blooming.

Can several people care for the same plant?

Yes, that's the idea. Everyone with the link can water it, pull its weeds and leave messages for each other on it.

Is Stilk free?

You can start for free: the Peony is always free, as many as you like. Other plants are a small one-time purchase, or get every plant with Stilk Plus, paid once. There are no subscriptions.

Is there an app?

Yes. Stilk works in any browser, and there are apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. A plant's link opens on all of them.
